More About DEADWAVE

DEADWAVE is a classic stylized third-person shooter built by a solo indie developer, set across striking ancient-themed locations — from Egyptian sands to crumbling temples. Every match turns into a desperate, chaotic last stand. Fight through increasingly intense zombie waves, earn credits to buy weapons and upgrades, and survive long enough to unlock bigger maps and harder challenges.

Play alone or team up with friends in co-op, or take a break from the horde with party modes including Prop Hunt, Team Deathmatch, Free-For-All, and Capture the Flag.

The Developer

About Mr. Firewall

Mr. Firewall is a solo indie developer and network engineer based in Berlin, Germany. With 10 years of professional experience in networking, he channeled his curiosity about how multiplayer games work into building one from scratch — alongside a full-time job.

DEADWAVE started as a personal learning project and grew into a fully featured multiplayer game over three years of evenings, weekends, bug fixes at midnight, and playtests with family. It is his first commercial game.

"No team. No budget. Just me, my PC, and a lot of late nights."
